Uroczysko Hruszki ( https://hruszki.info ) and the Association Stowarzyszenie na Rzecz Dialogu “Tropinka” offer five residencies, free of charge, for members of the Polish Literary Translators Association, the Literary Union, and authors (writers and translators) from Belarus, Lithuania and Ukraine.

Between 13 and 27 March 2026 we invite five people to Hruszki at the edge of the Białowieża Forest. Residents will stay in a beautiful apartment consisting of five bedrooms (one adapted for a person in a wheelchair), each with a bathroom and a writing desk, and a shared living room/kitchen. The cost of transport and catering is not covered. For guests arriving by public transport transfer from Białystok or Hajnówka will be arranged.

The resident from Ukraine is offered 1000 złotych for transport and food costs.
Residents will be asked to participate in an author’s meeting arranged by Tropinka Association in Narewka Gallery. The residency is set under the auspices of Narewka commune, which is also the co-organizer of the author’s meeting.

Applications sent to rezydencjetworcze@gmail.com should include personal details, a short CV and the description of the work planned (all in Polish, English, or German).
